Certain elements of positive thinking and the Law of Attraction are rock solid; you need to focus on a desired outcome, have reminders of said preferred outcome, act to accomplish that preferred outcome, and stay with it till you reach that preferred outcome.
What occurs is what you begin to focus on more typically, the more you wire your subconscious mind to find methods to bring what you focus on into real life.
However, Positive Thinking, when taken to the extreme, can be excessively damaging to various elements your life.
There are a few instances where positive thinking takes a turn for the nonsensical. Right here are a few examples I’ve seen in my own life:.
1. Pretending issues simply don’t exist.
I remember hearing that what you think about you attract to you, so I actually had a fear of even acknowledging these issues existed, no matter how in my face they were, out of fear of making them even bigger. As time went on the feeling of anger and depression only got stronger in time the more I tried to push them out of my awareness.
Positive thinking must be about focusing on what you want, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the reality of what is taking place around you, whether great or bad. If you have issues in your life, you have to acknowledge them before you can fix them. Neglecting them won’t make them go away.
2. Believing that your issues will magically be taken care of at the last second (AKA living on a prayer, LITERALLY).
I have heard of friends of friends who had costs turn up when their bank accounts are totally empty. Instead of doing any action to change that, they would say that the money would magically show up somehow.
I don’t know if there was any money that was set up to come into that account, but it still kinda shook me up that people would leave such crucial stuff to chance like that.
It’s easy to see how this might blow up in your face. Don’t do it.
3. Beating yourself up over any negative feelings that enter your mind, which make them worse.
I still keep in mind when the film “The Secret” first came out (before it got picked up by the legendary Oprah media equipment). One of the major things that was taught was that what you think about, knowingly or SUBconsciously, you draw in.
And, if you’re human, bad thoughts and unfavorable emotions tend to hit you every now and then.
Now, what tends to occur, in spite of our best efforts, is we end up feeling guilty or overreact to those unfavorable feelings, having them grow to even larger unfavorable emotions (getting bigger as we try to block them out), causing us to focus more on that unfavorable emotion, and on and on and on … as it pushes people into a vicious downward spiral.
What Needs To Happen To Make The Law of Attraction REALLY WORK.
Belief is very important, however, in the end nothing occurs without taking direct action to make it occur. The larger the miracle, the more action (and perhaps even more people) that will be needed for that preferred outcome to occur.
You want to focus on a preferred outcome, have reminders of said preferred outcome, act to accomplish that preferred outcome, and stay with it till you reach that preferred outcome.
Once again, bad thoughts occur every now and then, and it’s fine as long as you don’t STAY focused on it. Acknowledge these issues exist, direct your focus on a particular circumstance you want to be in where that issue is fixed, and take enormous action till you reach your preferred outcome.
P.S. After you acknowledge the issues you want to face and what you have to focus on to take care of these issues, you still need a solid car and a precise roadmap to do what you set out to achieve. Go here for a clear car and precise roadmap on the best ways to reach your preferred outcomes.
